From AYA DESIGN's debut Spring​/​Summer 2026 collection, L'île déserte, presented on the official London Fashion Week schedule. The collection reads the uninhabited island as a return to the primordial self. Tailoring turned inside out: the double-breasted jacket is reversed, its lapels stripped away and the front panels crossed low over the waist to close with a single carved toggle. Seam allowances are left exposed and frayed along the front edges, shoulders and cuffs, while the hem falls into two pointed tails. Sharply waisted, fully lined, and cut from a fine wool-blend pinstripe suiting. Made at AYA inc.'s own countryside factory in Japan alongside local artisans. A sample piece, available in one size only. Wear over bare skin or a fine knit. Dry clean only. Do not tumble dry. The raw, frayed seam edges are an intentional design feature — do not trim.
